It’s on all of us to hear from those who experience and live through racial injustice. To gain an understanding of our role in eradicating hate, to take action, and to educate ourselves on the challenges faced by Black and historically disenfranchised communities. Not just in America, but across the world. It’s on us.

At Balandi, we are taking the time to educate our peers, our families, and most importantly ourselves. We believe in taking action in a way that creates actual change. In a stand with the Black Lives Matter movement, we will be donating all of the proceeds from our “Vision of Achieving”– VOA Collection line at the end of the year to support the cause. Join us in taking a stand against racial injustice by purchasing from the links below:

Why are we donating to BLM?

Because we are self-reflective and believe together as a human race, we can achieve greatness. We believe this movement is beyond a moral issue; it is a necessity. Freedom, liberation, and justice is a fight everyone should support. No matter where the fight or how small. As famously said by Dr. King, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” We are not free until we ALL are free, and this we must internalize as a means to gain more compassion for one another and build a better future for tomorrow.

Now is the time to stand with people of color in your communities. Amplify their voices and take action. We do not have all the answers, so we are asking for your help. We want to hear from you. If you know of any resources or have any recommendations, please leave them in the comments below.  Together, we can continue to learn and educate one another.
